Frugi SS16 Collection

We’ve been part of the #FrugiFamly for a little while now and I have to say I’m so pleased that I was introduced to the brand because their clothes are such fantastic quality. I have some key pieces in both the children’s wardrobes for each season but one thing I hadn’t tried before were their pyjamas so this time round, I thought we’d give them a whirl with their new SS16 collection.

I chose the scrumptious organic cotton Little Perran PJs which are going to be perfect for going to bed on a warmer evenings or teaming with a longer trouser for these slightly cooler nights. The short sleeved top has a sweet Frugi boat print on the front and the coordinating nautical shorts have an elasticated waistband as well as a drawcord for a super comfy fit, even when they are slightly big.

The colour of Frugi’s clothing is always a big draw for me (as well as their organic cotton super softness!) band these pyjamas don’t disappoint either; the bright red top with the cute boat print is perfect for summer nights and even works as a daytime t-shirt; because it uses just one large print on the front, you can easily use this as both t-shirt or pyjamas.
I love the nautical Flomax shorts… the print is really fun and bright but the darker base colour means that when they get dirty, they are easier to keep stain free! Again, much like the t-shirt, these shorts can be worn as both pjs as well as more casual shorts for sunny, lazy days. I love the fact that they have both an elasticated waist and drawcord as Benjamin fits well in the top but the shorts fall down- being just 12 months this is to be expected as they are 12-18 months in size and I fully expect them to last until the end of the summer.

I’ve never had any issues with the way Frugi wash and I don’t think I’ll have issues with these pjs either. Obviously with the slightly colder weather I haven’t had a huge opportunity to put them to the test outside but Benjamin has certainly loved sleeping in them; I love how cute he looks in the slightly over sized shorts as he’s still a little short but that just means there is plenty of growing room for the rest of the year.

Having seen what we’ve picked, why not head on over to Donna at What the Redhead said and see what she chose!whatmummythinks-sponsored post

  1. Oh they look adorable, and he looks so cute. Definitely too nice looking to just wear for bed. x

  2. They are adorable and I certainly think they will last well past the summer

  3. Gorgeous choice and my Benjamin is growing fast. That is one thing about Frugi, they are so generous with their sizing aren’t they. Mia hd a pair of 3-4 trousers that she wore as shorts until she was about 8!

  4. We haven’t tried their PJ’s yet either but always think they look fab. What gorgeous photos and agree with everything you say about quality and washing. No problems here either x #frugifamily

  5. Oh my goodness he looks adorable! Great choice, I might have to get my 3 some Frugi pyjamas, they looks great!

  6. He’s so cute, I know what you mean about them being a bit too big but looking even cuter!

  7. Lovely choice. The nautical theme is one of my favourites.

  8. LOVE those PJs! The print on the bottoms is gorgeous and they look like just a comfy outfit to me rather than just PJs. Love them! x

  9. Oh my, far too cute!! I think I might have to invest in some Frugi pyjamas too! What a gorgeous boy you have xx
