Frugi Family – autumn/winter collection Billie Pram Suit

I'm a part of the Frugi FamilyBeing a part of the Frugi Family means that Benjamin gets to try out some of their beautiful clothes from their new ranges. Back in the summer I wrote about their gorgeous sailor dungarees which lasted long into the summer and still look almost new. Now we’ve been given a chance to review something from their Autumn/Winter collection. Because of our wonderful weather, I decided to try out the Nee Naw Billie Pram Suit from their Adventure range.

It’s made from 100% recycled fibres and is 100% water resistant which is perfect for our wintery weather. The outer fabric is 100% recycled Polyester and comes in a lovely vehicle design. I think the print is gorgeous and we’ve already had lots of compliments when out and about. I find that Frugi’s prints and designs are always beautiful and the detailing is lovely too.

The Billie Pram Suit not only looks fab, but it’s also really practical too. The hood is large and will ensure small ears are kept toasty warm in the winter especially with its soft fleece lining. It has fixed booties to the bottom so you know little feet won’t get wet in the rain or snow but my absolute favourite element of this pram suit is the integrated fold back mittens. Think babygrow mittens and then add them to a pram suit and you’ve got one of the best ideas ever. I always found the usual mittens that came with pram suits (or coats) either came off all the time, were too hard to get on wiggly hands in the first place or ended up lost as they were usually only held on with a button. They also seemed to get in the way when they weren’t needed. The Billie Pram Suit has none of these issues as it uses an integral fold back mitten which isn’t bulky and folds back completely out of the way.

While Benjamin is a little small in the suit currently, I’m sure the ‘growing room’ will all be used up come the end of the winter. While he is a little small for it, the double zip at the front has come in really handy as I just don’t zip it up completely to the top and simply fold down the extra fabric in on itself. When the zip is done up completely, there are little coverings to stop the zip catching on your little ones face.

Benjamin has certainly felt snuggly and warm enough to have a few cat naps on the school run as well as keeping warm down the chilled aisles in the shops!

Great quality and beautiful design has become synonymous with the Frugi brand and the Billie Pram Suit is no different. We LOVE FRUGI!

Now over to Donna to see what she picked over at What the Redhead Said.
