Hug Me Bear Bedding Set

Hug Me Bear

For me, one of the most important things to get right is your baby’s bedding because they spend a lot of their time in bed. We’ve tried a couple of different brands’ bedding sets and while all have looked lovely to begin with, once they’ve been washed a few times they lose their soft feel and can fade.

The Hug Me Bear 4 piece bedding set is not only really soft and comfortable, but it’s made from organically grown naturally coloured cotton and washes so well.

The bedding set includes: 1 Hug Me Bear quilt 100 x 120cm; 1 Hug Me Bear bumper 150 x 40 cm; 1 jersey fitted sheet; 1 jersey flat sheet with embroidery and all are 100% organically coloured cotton.

I was most surprised at how tall the bumper is; compared to all the other sets that I have, this bumper almost comes up to the top of the cot and makes it look so cute. Unlike some bumpers, it stays the same height all the way round and doesn’t taper down at either side. This is great for me as is means Isabella doesn’t manage to throw her dummy out onto the floor nearly as much as she used to.

The actual design is really sweet and would work well for either a boy or a girl and because of the neutral colours will work with any nursery colour scheme.

The quilt is beautifully soft and warm and will fit either a cot or a cot bed meaning it has better longevity. It’s wide enough to tuck in to the sides of the bed and short enough that I don’t worry about it covering her face at night.

This organic cotton bedding set has stayed soft wash after wash, has kept its shape and colour and it’s perfect for even the most sensitive skin to sleep on for hours.

It’s more expensive than some bedding sets at £125 but well worth it in my opinion. I just wish I has found Natures Purest while Isabella was still a newborn as there are so many other lovely products available that she is just too big for now.
