SnapMe Swimwear

I don’t know about you, but I love taking my little one swimming and to the beach (weather permitting of course!) But I have found in the past that normal swimsuits could be a real pain to get on and off when wet.

It wasn’t so much of an issue if we were only in the pool for 20 minutes, but if we were in and out the water or if I needed to change my little one’s nappy halfway through the swim, it seemed pointless putting the swimsuit back on as it would never go back on very easily and would upset her.

Well, we were given a SnapMe Swimsuit and I have to say it’s brilliant! I can’t believe there aren’t more swimsuits like this more readily available to buy. The idea is so simple, but there just doesn’t seem to be anything else like this on the market. Just like a baby vest, there are snap poppers between the legs (adjustability to two different sizes for a better fit) and when you need to, you simply pop open the swimsuit, change the nappy and pop them back up again – simple!snapme1

The fabric is 85% polyester and 15% Spandex which gives it just the right amount of give; enough to stretch over wriggling arms and head but not too much that it goes saggy once it’s wet. It’s UPF 50+ which is always a bonus when delicate skin is involved. It washes really well and the colour stays bright too meaning my little one can be stylish at the same time as wearing something practical.

There are some gorgeous designs to choose from on the website.

All I wish now was that I lived closer to the beach so I could use it more frequently!

I will definitely be investing in another one of these SnapMe swimsuits as my daughter grows (even when she is out of nappies) as the idea is just so much more convenient.
