My first Point + Shoot

So I ended up doing lots of little things this weekend rather than bigger things so here is a little look in to the life at What Mummy Thinks HQ.

We love to get out in the fresh air over the weekend as a family as life during the week can get so busy that sometimes we can forget to enjoy the little things in life. So, after doing some chores and clearing the office in preparation for turning it into a nursery, we went to feed the ducks.

Isabella loves feeding the ducks and we always have fun when we go. It’s such an inexpensive activity that brings so much pleasure. We talk to each other and enjoy being in each other’s company come rain or shine.

We’ve also started to try and do at least one crafty activity per weekend as a family. Isabella and I do quite a few crafty things together on my days off but it’s really nice when Daddy can get involved too. This weekend, we started looking at Valentine’s Day and Easter crafts.

My parents also came over (to help with yet more DIY) and brought my old dolls house with them; my dad made this for me when I was about 5; I sat and fondly reminisced  over the hours of fun I got from this as I watched my own daughter entranced with it.

So these were a few of the moments from my weekend, what did you get up to?

  1. It’s my first Point + Shoot too so ‘hi’ from a fellow newbie.

Lovely photos from the weekend. I particularly like the top one, the action shot of feeding the ducks. 🙂
